Gary Emery
President
Mr. Gary Emery serves as President of Oestreicher Construction Corporation. A hands-on leader, Mr. Emery is involved, to some degree, with every project, interacting with team members in the office and the field every day. Additionally, Mr. Emery aids in the estimating process, adding valuable insight from years of experience within the construction industry. Originally he joined Oestreicher as an Assistant Superintendent. Prior to being named President, Mr. Emery gained valuable experience as he rose through the ranks - performing nearly every position in the company including Project Superintendent and Vice President of Operations, providing him a first-hand perspective on every aspect of Oestreicher's work.
Mr. Emery monitors each project to ensure compliance with schedule, budget and quality. With over 30 years of experience he has the ability to meet problems head-on and come to a quick solution. As President for the last 18 years, Mr. Emery has guided the growth of OCC to expand into the healthcare industry, institutional build-outs and residential and development areas to give clients the best representation possible.
Outside of the work area, Mr. Emery has been involved in many of his local boards and charities. He was an elected Bergen County Committee member, member of Glen Rock Recreation Committee, President of Glen Rock Junior Football, Vice President of Glen Rock High School Booster Club and volunteered as coach in many sports leagues, both boys and girls.
